Yin in Dublin

A slow, seated practice that holds gentle stretches to release deep tension.

Student resting in a supported yin yoga pose

Yin is a slow, seated practice that holds gentle stretches for several minutes at a time, working deep into the connective tissues and releasing tension that other practices might miss. It's for anyone who wants to slow down, let go and feel more ease in their body — especially if you've never tried yoga or if you've only done faster, more active classes.

What we offer

  • Long, supported stretches that feel like a slow unwinding rather than effort
  • Time for your nervous system to settle as you hold each pose
  • Clear instruction on how to make each stretch feel good in your own body
  • A practice that pairs beautifully with breathwork or meditation
  • Your first class free, so you can experience the deep calm yin brings

Questions

Will I be bored just sitting and holding poses?

Not at all. Yin feels quiet on the surface, but inside it's deeply active — your body is slowly releasing, your mind is settling, and by the end you'll feel like you've given yourself a real gift.

What if I'm not very flexible?

Yin doesn't require flexibility. In fact, it creates flexibility over time. Every pose is adjusted so it feels gentle and sustainable for your own body, and that's exactly where the healing happens.

Can I do yin if I'm used to faster exercise?

Yes. Many runners, cyclists and gym-goers love yin because it gives them permission to slow down and recover — and because it addresses tightness that faster exercise alone can't reach.
