Sunlit Sanctuary Yoga Studio A calm place to begin your practice

About Us

A warm, light-filled yoga studio with wooden floors and soft morning light streaming through large windows

Sunlit Sanctuary was built for people who are new to yoga or returning after time away — people who want to try yoga in a space that feels welcoming, unhurried and free of any performance or pressure.

We teach five practices: vinyasa, yin, restorative yoga, breathwork and meditation. Each one is an entry point. Some students find their home in flowing vinyasa, others in the deep rest of yin or restorative poses, and others in the directness of breathwork or sitting quietly. Many of us move between them, drawing what we need on any given day.

Our teachers are experienced, thoughtful and genuinely interested in meeting you where you are — whether it's your first class or your five-hundredth. They focus on breath, ease and presence. They show you how to modify poses for your own body. They welcome all questions. And they remember that yoga isn't about looking a certain way or achieving a certain pose; it's about how you feel when you leave the room.

The studio itself is warm and light-filled, designed to feel more like a sanctuary than a gym. There's no loud music, no performance energy, no mirrors scrutinizing your form. It's just a quiet, welcoming space where you can begin or return to a practice that feels true to you.

Your first class is free. Come try it and see how it feels.
